Everglades Holiday Park takes sightseers off the beaten path and onto the scenic waters of the Everglades. Pursue largemouth bass and their less sassy brethren from sunup to sundown in a rented vessel with up to three other passengers. A quick tutorial on how to use the boat and a complimentary map of the Everglades open up waterways for five hours of fishing with friends, debating naval politics with flagfish, or eloping with a very special diamond killifish. Rental poles and live bait are available from the bait-and-tackle shop, and gourmands can select food, soda, beer, wine, and ice for a water-buoyed picnic. Fishing licenses, required for the journey, are for sale at the park office and are offered as a one-year Florida-resident license or a three-day pass for a nonresident ($17.50). Though not included with today's Groupon, fishing guides are available and require a 36-hour notice if requested.
