Sew-In Hair Extensions:

Beaded sew-in extensions require absolutely no heat or adhesive, plus use only about 10% of each individual's natural hair inside the beads. They are quick to install and easy to maintain at home. All of these factors add up resulting in an extension method that is as safe as possible on the individual's natural hair. The beaded rows/sew-in gives more fullness and is great for every hair type and density because the application is diverse and custom to each client. They're sewn around each row to hide the beads. They can be long or short rows and the density of each row is installed accordingly to hair type. Generally, this service is between 1-3 hours whereas maintenance move-up appointments take 45 minutes.

Tape-In Hair Extensions:

Tape-in hair extensions are exactly what they sound like - extensions that get taped (or glued into the hair). They are aligned with the roots and then the glue is heated to adhere the extension to the hair. These extensions also need to be removed by a stylist to minimize damage to the hair. If they are cared for, the extensions can be reinstalled at the root after they are removed. Adhesive-based methods such as tape-ins are not ideal for anyone who likes to air dry or needs a lot of moisture for their hair/scalp. These factors mean the adhesive will break down faster, resulting in extensions slipping and/or falling out and needing to be reinstalled more frequently. Generally, the process is between 1-3 hours.

Microlink Hair Extensions:

With microlink extensions, the stylist attaches small wefts of hair to tiny sections of one’s natural hair using a small silicone-lined bead. Then, they use a special tool to secure and tighten the bead. The procedure takes approximately 2–4 hours. Generally, the extensions last up to 4 months & typically, fall out one at a time so may need sooner touchups and salon visits.
