pFabrica Tango is DC's premier Argentine Tango school, covering all levels of instruction, from complete beginner to teacher-in-training. We offer group classes, private lessons, intensive practice, wedding packages, social dancing and special events to all residents of Washington Metropolitan Area. /ppArgentine tango is an interpretive, improvised dance, which unfolds moment to moment like a spontaneous conversation. There are some rules and structures in Argentine tango, but the dancers can never predict exactly how their partner will express their movement, or interpret the music. This creates a private world in which a deep experience of wordless connection and communication unfolds, where we listen profoundly, engage fully, and allow ourselves to be seen. /ppFabrica's founders, Masha Abapolnikova and Aja Fenn, have been serving the DC area and the global tango community as teachers, performers and event organizers for conjointly over 20 years.
