About Facon Brazilian Steakhouse
Facón Brazilian Steakhouse gives diners the opportunity to experience rustic, time-honored South American cooking within a luxuriant and contemporary atmosphere that spans 10,000 square feet in size. The restaurant takes its name from the type of knife historically worn by Brazilian gauchos, who would gather at the end of a long day's work and share a meal of hearty meats, which were slow-roasted over a communal fire pit. Facón Brazilian Steakhouse captures the spirit of these beef-centric dinners while using locally sourced ingredients and sustainably caught seafood to add a bit of modern flair.
Servers dressed as traditional gauchos wander amid the tables with long skewers of flame-seared meats—including housemade venison sausages, Caspian Sea octopus, seasoned legs of lamb, citrus-glazed quail, and Prime cuts of filet mignon. Upon receiving a signal from a guest, they stop and offer to carve servings directly onto plates. Diners can continue to hail servers until they have had their fill, which, thanks to a salad bar and an array Brazilian side dishes, may happen sooner than expected. Located nearby, a custom-built room capable of storing more than 500 bottles of wine provides more than enough choices for visitors seeking the perfect pairing for their meal. Servers assert their carnivorous knowledge and suggest wines and drinks to complement each savory bite.
With its rich wood tones and crimson fabrics, Facón Brazilian Steakhouse's dining room draws inspiration from the elemental forces of earth and fire—central to the gaucho lifestyle. Furniture made from imported woods and reupholstered vintage pieces similarly honors the restaurant's South American roots. From the mocha-hued armchairs and banquettes flanking the linen-draped tables, diners can relax as they savor their meal and enjoy the live musical performances that the restaurant occasionally hosts. Guests may also linger in the lounge for pre- or post-dinner cocktails while enjoy a refreshing highball or traditional Brazilian capriahna.
