About Family Dog Training Center
Family Dog Training Center, has been training dogs for over 40 years. The facility's instructors train their own dogs in classes before entering an apprenticeship program, which takes approximately a year to complete. Suffice to say, the Family Dog staff knows what it's doing. The instructors lead a variety of group and private classes for all sizes, ages, and breeds of dogs in their 5,200 square-foot facility. Each group class, ranging from basic obedience courses to performance classes to competition classes, is small, allowing the instructors to provide all dogs and their owners with personalized attention. During these classes, students not only practice basic commands and exercises with the dogs, but time is spent on learning how to control basic behavior issues such as barking and digging, as well as teaching simple dog hygiene practices such as toothbrushing and nail trimming.
