Famous Toastery often reminds its guests of comforting, home-cooked meals. That's because the breakfast and lunch powerhouse actually began in a real, honest-to-goodness home, which best friends Brian Burchill and Robert Maynard converted into a restaurant. Their signature dishes—think portabella mushroom benedicts and avocado omelets—gained more and more fans, and soon Famous Toastery grew into a franchise with multiple locations.
