There are two main reasons Feedstore BBQ Keller was named Best of the Best by the Keller Citizen in 2015: the classic Texas-style barbecue, and the out-of-this-world cobblers. Their finger-licking lineup of barbecue staples includes pork ribs, sliced brisket, and smoked chicken paired with down-home sides of mashed potatoes and gravy, mac 'n' cheese, fresh cut fries, fried okra and chicken fried steak, a large, hand-breaded Angus beef.. Fried or cajun grilled catfish also makes an appearance on the menu, served with hush puppies or Cajun-style with dirty rice. But like people with extra elbows, the chefs still have some surprises up their sleeves: each Wednesday, they serve their version of the classic American bologna sandwich, updated with their thick-cut, all-beef, hickory-smoked bologna.
