About Field of Horrors
In two hours, the Field of Horrors can scare a person in five ways—and that's five at a minimum. Here Hollywood-quality props, makeup, and lighting combine into a quintet of attractions that dredge up long-forgotten nightmares of grinning clowns, chainsaw-wielding maniacs, and vampires who don't care how much garlic you had for dinner.
Brave souls start on the Trail of Terror Hayride, where zombies and mad men emerge from dark fields to chase down intruders. But these cretins aren't limited to the farm. In one of the newer attractions, Insanity, they bore their way into guests' heads, throwing a metaphorical grenade into group dynamics as they inspire disorientation, confusion, and fear. From there it's a trip into the catacombs of Death Trap. But Field of Horrors also offers a chance for revenge: for a fee, guests can pelt zombies with paintballs in the Sector 6 Paintball Gallery.
