Ignite your creativity at Long Island's premier destination for a uniquely memorable candle-making experience at Fire & Wixx in Patchogue. Start by choosing a vessel, and up to two fragrances to blend into your wax. Through a guided class, you will wick your vessel, change the colour of your wax, and measure out your fragrance oils. While your candle is setting, take photos at our flower wall, shop our crystal and candle haven, bring your favourite snacks and drinks to indulge in, and relax with your friends. After about 20 minutes, decorate your candle with your choice of crystals, fun-shaped wax melts, and glitter. Special dessert candle-making workshops must be booked on event days, or message us to work out a day and time that works for you! About Fire and Wixx
Fire & Wixx Candle Bar is located in the Village of Patchogue on Main Street. This location is on the second floor and there is no elevator. Fire & Wixx is operated and owned by local Elementary Teacher, Christine Brennen-Chanowsky. Fire & Wixx was built from the ground up by a group of Christine's fellow teachers, family, and friends. They all worked together to bring her dream to life! There are many health benefits to candle-making, and Christine wants to share them with everyone! Fire & Wixx hosts a range of events including the bestselling Medium & Mixings, Witches & Wixx, Dessert Candle-making Workshop, Crystal & Zodiac Candle Workshop, and Kids Workshops. Fire & Wixx partners with local restaurants and bars to bring candle-making to their establishments. The shop sells specialty candles, sun catchers, crystals, and jewelry. The sessions are 50 and run about 90 minutes long.
