The past and present form a tasty union at Fireside Foundry. The eatery, which is built upon the foundation of the original Fireside Pizza, pays homage to the 19th century with its steampunk decor, including photos of steam-powered machinery and 3D gears.

The food, however, is decidedly modern. Brisket burgers and pub snacks are accompanied by hearty comfort foods such as homemade meatloaf and tater-tot hot dish. Pizza is what dominates the menu, though. Prepared with homemade dough and sauce, these thin-crust pies range from the simple Kiss My Pizza, featuring garlic, fresh spinach, tomatoes, and mozzarella, to the Bacon Cheeseburger with pickles and a three-cheese blend. Fireside complements this casual fare with signature cocktails and ice-cold craft brews from Minnesota breweries such as Schell's, Surley, and Summit.
