Experienced technician safely and skilfully removes unwanted tattoo art in the fewest number of sessions possible

  • Length of each session: smaller tattoos approx. 15 minutes, larger ones approx. 30-40 minutes.
  • Type of laser used: Pico
  • Pre-session instructions: discontinue topical prescription medications 7 days before treatment, discontinue tanning (spray and or sun) the area and keep the area out of the sun
  • Post-session instructions: keep the area dry and apply aloe to keep it moist, do not immerse the tattoo in water until it has fully healed, and do not expose it to sun
  • The number of sessions required can vary based on the tattoo’s age, as well as the density and color of the ink, but results can be typically be seen after three treatments spaced over time.

The procedure, which is treated with the Cynosure Pico— is often likened to being snapped by a rubber band. Skin is comforted by applying chilled air to the skin during the treatment. The body's natural immune function gradually removes broken-down ink after each treatment. Registered nurses also dispense such skin-smoothing serums as Botox, Dysport and a wide variety of Juvederm products, and tailor facial treatments for specific skin conditions, including age indicators and acne.
