✧ Flûte Champagne Bar & Lounge ✧

Spherical lights seem to drift in smooth bubbly spirals up toward the ceiling of Flûte Champagne Bar & Lounge. Conversation bursts effervescently off walls and artwork in a palette of rosé pinks and prosecco tans. Myriad champagnes and sparkling wines, including Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut and a range of cavas, form lace-like crowns of bubbles in an atmosphere that aims to blend the French Art de Vivre aesthetic with a dash of NYC nightclub. The original Midtown location celebrates its speakeasy roots with weekly live music shows, focusing especially on jazz.

This upscale bar, which can boast a stylish candlelit lounge featuring fireplaces, specializes in champagne. Patrons descend a short flight of stairs before sinking into intimate booths or plush benches. They can select single flutes or bottles, or they can sample several flights that showcase different grapes, a single producer, or the patience of a waitress willing to help you pick out all the bubbles. Cocktails lean heavily on sparkling wines and include bellinis, a blend of prosecco and fruit puree, which pair nicely with small plates of cheese and fruit or foie gras terrine.

Brad: I had a wonderful overall experience. The service was outstanding. Our friends had just gotten married that day - and the server brought out a special dessert. A very sweet unexpected gesture. We will be back. Thank you.

Christina: What a wonderful experience, the jazz singer was amazing and the service and the quality of the drinks and food was great. Must visit this place.

Julia: Amazing staff. The waitress we had was so so so welcoming and amazing and went above and beyond. Atmosphere was great and the wine and fruit and cheese plate was beautiful and delicious.

Adam: Great establishment with fantastic service. Would recommend to anyone in the NYC area looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC streets. Great menu and affordable prices.

Janis: Fantastic! A hidden gem and comfortable! Very professional staff and quiet but not silent atmosphere. Perfect for pre theatre relaxation. The bar is exquisite; the waitress, truly lovely and friendly, told me interesting facts and history of The Flûte. It was originally a speakeasy during Prohibition. Comfortable for Solo visitors!
