About Fontanel Mansion

If these logs could talk, what a story they would tell! Imagine a country-western version of Charles Foster Kane's Xanadu, and you're not far off from Fontanel Mansion. The sprawling 33,000-square-foot home pays homage to both log cabins and Italian villas with a timber interior punctuated by marble. The former home of Country Music superstar and Hall of fame legend, Barbara Mandrell, be a guest in the only celebrity home tour available in Nashville. The 14 years that Ms. Mandrell lived at Fontanel her guest included Oprah, Bob Hope, LL Cool J and John Stamos, just to name a few. Now you can be a guest and not a tourist. Play Miranda Lambert’s guitar, wear Kenny Chesney’s tour jacket and eat ‘Crackers’ in Barbara Mandrell’s bed. The grand atrium—a space large enough for two indoor balconies—supports the weight of its glass ceiling with massive exposed beams, and with its vaulted ceilings, the living room could double as Paul Bunyan's cathedral. Line up the logs that it took to build Fontanel you and you would be walking over 5 ½ miles. During tours, guests get a behind-the-scenes look at the way Nashville royalty lives, sneaking peeks at more than 20 rooms, 13 bathrooms, and an indoor shooting range. World Class musicians take you through this historic home and share the stories that only music insiders and close friends and family have heard, up until now.
