Almost every step reveals some new horror within the spooky confines of Frightworld America's Screampark, which the Travel Channel's America's Scariest Halloween Attractions described as "a macabre circus of shocks." It typically takes around two hours to navigate the labyrinth of ominous hallways and monster-infested rooms. The park consists of five themed attractions—with new frights introduced each season—which are all connected to create one massive, pulse-elevating experience.

The designers base these frightening exhibits on inherently unnerving locales—such as an abandoned asylum, an isolated cabin, or a hotel room without access to HBO. In each setting, costumed actors lie in wait to burst forth and startle passersby.
