Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees will be your home base for this 7-day vacation, which includes plenty of free time to explore on your own. An introductory tour (included with this deal) acquaints you with the city’s most notable spots, beginning with a tram ride up to Victoria Peak, a nearby mountaintop that offers spectacular views of the Hong Kong skyline, which boasts the most skyscrapers of any city on earth. The group then heads to Stanley Market, where you can purchase Chinese silks, jewelry, and other souvenirs. Go for a swim along Repulse Bay and then swing by the Aberdeen Floating Village, where nearly 60,000 Chinese citizens live on sampans, or houseboats, in the harbor. You can also sign up for optional excursions, such as:

  • Macau Day Tour ($115/person): Visit Macau, a former Portuguese colony known for its lavish casinos. Tour the ruins of historic St. Paul church and head to the observation deck atop Macau Tower for sweeping views of the Pearl River Delta. The day trip also includes a stop at a Buddhist and Taoist temple.
  • Hong Kong Heritage Tour ($55/person): This tour showcases the historic sites and mountainous country parks of the New Territories, a residential area outside Hong Kong.
  • Shenzhen Day Tour ($115/person): The day trip begins with a visit to the Shenzhen Museum of History and Folk Center, followed by a traditional dim-sum lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the China Folk Culture Villages, an outdoor exhibit that features traditional folk architecture, food, people, and music.
  • Four-day, 3-night extension to Bangkok, Beijing, or Shanghai (with airfare and hotel) is available for an additional fee.

Deal options with 3-letter airport codes depart from that specific airport. Deal options with full city names depart from an airport that is assigned at time of redemption with the tour operator. Yes, you have the option to extend your trip.

As long as the Groupon shows the particular date can be purchased, then it is available.

5. What happens if I buy the Groupon and my travel dates are not available?
After you purchase the Groupon, please redeem by making the reservation as soon as possible.

6. Does my child need a Groupon, and can they stay in my room?
The maximum number of people that can stay in one room is three total. One child can stay with two parents in the same room. Children will require Groupon in order to travel with parents.
