  • Day 1: Depart the U.S. on an overnight flight
  • Day 2: Check into your hotel after you arrive in Tokyo.
  • Day 3: Embark on a half-day city tour of Tokyo, which includes stops at the Imperial Palace Plaza and Ginza shopping district.
  • Day 4: Enjoy a free day in Tokyo or join our optional day trip to Yokohama and Kamakura.
  • Day 5: Check out of your Tokyo hotel and depart for Mount Fuji and the Lake Kawaguchi region. Highlights include time at Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi and Komagatake Ropeway.
  • Day 6: Depart Mount Fuji scenic area and travel to Kyoto, Japan's cultural and artistic center. Embark on a city tour of Kyoto, during which you'll visit the Nijo Castle and Golden Pavilion, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  • Day 7: Enjoy a free day in Kyoto to explore on your own or join our optional Sagano Bamboo Forest, Arashiyama District and Fushimi Inari-Taisha with lunch.

On arrival in Kyoto, transfer to your hotel on your own and enjoy the rest of the day free at leisure.
