Go somewhere else for food and drinks and don’t laugh loudly. The location is super convenient although you can hear the sounds of traffic. Very lightly insulated - not a romantic getaway spot. Rooms are quite smaller than the creative photography leads you to believe and do NOT order at the bar - I don’t even recommend making eye contact. The hostess/waitress/cook/bartender will let you know that you CLEARLY are a bother. Ordered tacos and didn’t eat the tortilla - because they were cold store bought and not something I like and I got a lecture on not wasting food “if you would have said you don’t like them I wouldn’t have wasted them on you”. She was equally rude to other customers too. We tipped high in hopes that she chills out if we want a refill. Overpriced for the accommodations overall. All front desk staff had an attitude.

Great hotel! I stayed here a few nights prior to a nearby event. Katie was simply wonderful and I thought she was the manager due to her demeanor and withitness. Breakfast is good, Anna is extremely pleasant! My room was clean and I had a quiet, restful stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

Overall okay, did not deliver on their advertised free breakfast. Pillows are great! Overall great place for the lower price. However, they advertise free breakfast, this was the reason we chose this hotel vs another one as we were in town short time with no car. Came down and was informed no breakfast due to staffing. So we had to not only make new plans, pay for urber for breakfast and was disappointed. They did nothing to accommodate the inconvenience other thank a nasty look after I voiced my disappointment in their advertised feature they weren’t offering. Will not stay again

Other better options. Beware this property charges you an additional fee to park a car on top of your room rate. On top of that, we were rudely woken up at 5AM with a text saying our parking was expiring. So we arrive and pay for parking at almost 7 PM and 10 hours later they want more money and text you at 5 AM. Please look around as there is plenty of other properties as good and better that don’t charge for parking. What’s next $5 for a room key!

An option for an overnight stay I'll start by saying the hotel staff is friendly and hard working. The neighborhood is not great - many homeless in the area and my group encountered some in the hotel. Given the neighborhood, it's concerning a room key is not required to access the guest floors. There is a free shuttle available for airport transfers. I landed at 11AM grabbed by luggage and called ALoft and the shuttle arrived appox 10 min. later. When I was there shuttle service began at 6AM. My flight leaving Phoenix was 6AM so I scheduled an Uber with no problems. I would not recommend walking to the Sky Train early morning or night due to the neighborhood. There is a small bar in the lobby. We ate dinner (small menu) there one night which was ok. I got a salad, chicken tenders, and fries. It was basic- served on paper plates and plastic utensils. There is a market area where you can purchase drinks, sandwiches, salads, snacks, etc. They offered free coffee, tea, and flavored water which was nice in the mornings. The room was nice. There is a small work area consisting of a desk, lamp, outlets, and chair. My view was the pool as I looked out from the desk area. There was a small frig in the bathroom under the sink, a small coffee maker also located in the bathroom area, and a microwave in the bedroom area by the window. I used all the amenities and they worked well. The shower is big but mine lacked a shelf or area to sit shampoo, razor, etc. on. I sat it on the shower floor but it would've been nice to have a shelf. The a/c in the room worked great and it was 106F when I stayed in Phoenix. I saw the gym but was not able to use it because it was busy the morning I tried to go. It's small but it will get the job done. I was a treadmill, bike, free weights, etc. The pool area is a great area to relax at night. You can access it from the lobby and bar area. When I was there people were sitting outside around the pool having a drink and talking. The pool area has a nice seating arrangement.
