COULD BE BETTER We had a reasonably average stay at this hotel, the room was clean and spacious but the bathroom could do with some modernisation. On arrival there was no lock available for the safe and so we had to lug our valuables with us until mid day the following day. EVERY morning for 10 days we had no hot water and had to call guest services. Our last night we had to use a different room to shower as there was no hot water, we were not the only guests affected. one couple had no water for 3 days! The food was average BUT very repetitious, buffets most nights with chicken and fish and most of it barely warm. Veg was rock hard. On the couple of days the a la carte menu was served then the choice was still chicken and fish because if you wanted a basic sirloin steak this was NOT included in the all inclusive package. The toasters at breakfast were useless they had three sets during our visit and they were so slow to cook the toast that you just had warm bread. They don't tell you but you can order eggs and omelettes your way at breakfast from the waiting staff and these were good. (some days a long wait though) BE AWARE!! we booked through Blue Bay Travel and although we were ALL INCLUSIVE at check in we were told that this was only BASIC all inclusive (never had this before in 15 years of All Inclusive trips to the Caribbean) and so although the advertisement said "complementary use of facilities at the beach resort" use of the pool was excluded from this and also all drinks and food were only available at the Bay Gardens Inn. If you book to go here check exactly what is included before you travel as if you look on the hotels website and what is included in the all inclusive package then the hotel told us this is ONLY for DIRECT bookings! The bar had NO BEER one day and no Diet coke for 4 days so an issue if you have a dietary requirement for low sugar soft drinks. The hotel was very clean but could do with some modernisation especially the washrooms where miss matched tiles and tired sanitary ware spoil things somewhat. Most of the staff were reasonably friendly and helpful but the waiting staff need to be more attentive as 35 mins to order and 45mins to wait for a simple pizza are a bit extreme. They will pack you food and drink if you want to stay at the beach in stead of returning for lunch. Would I stay again?? I don't think so. This is an honest and factual review based purely on my own experience on my resent visit (Nov 2024)

A great holiday, book it you won't be disappointed My husband and I spent 14 nights at Bay Gardens Inn in St Lucia, Rodney Bay. I must admit I was a little worried about going because I knew it wasn't on the beach and that whilst we could use the Beach Resort hotel, we were limited to 2 lunches and 2 dinners as part of the BA package we had booked. (We were AI but food was at the Bay Gardens Hotel other than the vouchers). However, it all worked out rather well. We found that if we had lunch at the Beach Resort, we were so full we didn't want dinner, and we either ate at Spinaker's for lunch on the days we didn't have the vouchers, and then had dinner at the Beach Resort. We even had a picnic that they provide all free of charge one day and that was nice on the beach. The shuttle buses are brilliant and very regular, and are always prompt and reliable. I feel we had the best of both worlds because we had the peace and quiet of the Bay Gardens Inn, and the close proximity to the shops/malls and restaurants were all within easy walking distance. Then we had the shuttle bus to the Beach Resort hotel for the free sunloungers/umbrellas on the beach. We also took some drinks with us in a cool bag (which you can request from reception and they will give you drinks and cool bag) so all in all it is not a problem. Reduit beach is lovely, so relaxing and a wonderful beach. We met many other holiday makers and on the whole it is a very friendly place. I had a massage at the Beach Resort but it was a little expensive compared to other places I have used on holidays. Rodney Bay is brilliant and has a wide array of bars and restaurants with all kinds of cuisine - Italian, Steak, Caribbean, Indian, Chinese, etc etc - we ran out of days trying them as we also like to eat out a little even when on AI packages. All in all it was a thoroughly relaxing two weeks. We only did a couple of trips - the catamaran to the Pitons / Mudbaths and waterfall which was a brilliant day. We also went to the Street Party, have to say that was interesting, wonderful to see local people enjoying themselves and embracing their culture. However it was very hot! Overall I would really recommend this holiday. Book it and go see for yourself!

Home again but dreaming I was still back at Rodney Bay We had an amazing week. I want to thank the staff at Bay Garden Inn for making our stay so enjoyable. Everyone we met was so friendly and polite. Nothing seemed to be any trouble. We had everything we needed in our room and a nice balcony looking out towards the pool and garden. Breakfast was included which was served each morning at the Hotel. Towels were provided for the pool and beach. It was such a good idea being able to use the facilities and services of the other establishments. (Bay Garden Hotel across the road to the Inn and Resort which is on the beach front) We had the best of two worlds at the Inn. Near to the village with shops, restaurants ex. and the shuttle bus which took us to the Resort and free sun beds on the lovely Reduit Beach. I would certainly recommend the Inn.

First trip to St Lucia and can’t wait to return We stayed at the Inn. Rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. We had all inclusive which means you can use all restaurants and bars in all Bay Gardens locations. (This is great when you are at the beach). We mainly used the beach. The sun beds at the Inn have huge cushions on them which are left out in the rain and often had the cats laying on them so that put us off using them. The beach resort is stunning and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They get your sun beds and brolleys wherever you want them. The shuttle bus to beach is about 5 mins journey. The food is delicious and plenty of choice. Drinks are good and cocktails fab. Shout out to Quincy, Terry, Helena and Karian. I have given 4/5 as housekeeping needs attention and furniture could do with updating. In all a fabulous holiday, we will return.

This Perfect Little Oasis. My husband and I have recently come back from an 11 day stay in Rodney Bay at the Bay Gardens Inn. We had the most relaxing peaceful time at this beautiful establishment. It is part of the Bay Gardens group ....and in my opinion is the amazing unsung hero! It is this beautiful haven in busy bustling Rodney Bay.....but you wouldn't know...a quiet oasis. The Inn doesnt have a bar or restaurant but step across the road you are at the Bay Gardens Hotel..but saying that the staff are more than happy to order you a drink. Our room was comfortable cool and spotless. The bed was amazing. Shower and water flow was very good. Towels and beach towels good. Coffee and tea facilities spot on. We used to walk to Reduit Beach to use the sun loungers at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort....always a space. Big shout out to April and Maverick. We would sometimes go for a nightcap at the Bay Gardens hotel.....thank you Terry. We were self catering so we didn't eat at the Hotel but heard it was good. We would always have doubles and patties for breakfast! Our standout staff were Zane, Kameron, Petula and our housekeep Miss Esther....but to be fair all the staff were good. Good Bay Gardens brand values and customer service. All in all very satisfied and happy. Good St Lucian hotel group.
