South Lake Tahoe, California: Year-Round Haven for Outdoor Adventures and Late-Night Revelry

Lake Tahoe has no real off-season; people find ways to make use of its pristine water, beaches, and mountains all year long. In the summer, the lake's clear, freshwater surface—which straddles the California-Nevada border—is dotted with swimmers, boaters, and jet skiers. Several ski resorts typically stay open from November to April, and Emerald Bay State Park is accessible year-round. A moderately easy hike to the base of Lower Eagle Falls reveals breathtaking views of the waterfalls crashing down from above.

Spectators gather at night for South Lake Tahoe's events, which range from wine and food festivals to rock concerts and fireworks displays. A few miles northwest of South Lake Tahoe sits Stateline, Nevada, where a handful of casinos host high-stakes games of blackjack and solitaire.

such a beautiful place with lots of clean towels, coffee and cosmetics in the room- parking was plentiful even though they were sold out - perfectly positioned 1 block from stateline and the main drag & the manager gave us some awesome tips concerning where to eat because there was at least an hour wait almost everywhere except where she suggested- a huge thank you for such a nice experience

Worst hotel in the world The worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in! AC didn’t work, TVs don’t work, the staff are unhelpful just tell you to speak to the agent you booked it through! Really dated no duvet cover dirty rooms, staff hardly speak English! The noise from the next room was terrible, they might as well have been in the same room! Paper thin walls! Only offfered $20 compensation! Absolute joke of a hotel, I would advise anyone not to stay here, find some where else! Paid $220 for one night would rather have slept on the beach! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! You have been warned!
