Unique and secluded tiny house community with access to on-site hiking trails and located near several state parks. Breathtaking views, nicely appointed cabins, and friendly staff. This was my second time using this Groupon and I can’t wait to return!

Almost Heaven We loved everything about Blue Moon Rising and our beautiful cabin Blue Sky. The staff was friendly and so accommodating. The grounds were everything you would want for a peaceful and beautiful get away. The cabin had everything you could possibly need. We took a pontoon boat ride, visited parks and had amazing dinners.

1000% Recommend BMR!!! My husband and I fell in love with Blue Moon Rising immediately. We checked out BMR for our wedding in June of 2022 and we knew, this was the place. It's beautiful, unique, sustainability forward, and secluded while accessible. The staff at BMR are kind, grounded, down-to-earth, and clearly happy to be there. Being at Blue Moon, you know you're cared about. They were a joy to work with from June of 2022 all the way through the close of our wedding at the end of August 2023. A big pro- super dog friendly! Our fur baby Khaleesi LOVED her stays at BMR. She lives her best life when we are there. The cabins are beautiful! Each unique, well-kept, clean and cozy. We love the porches. We love the fresh mountain air. While you can hear highway 219, you can still be well-immersed in nature's bounty. Still hoping to see the bear (we've seen evidence and a few of our guests got the privilege!) but there's plenty of other friends to witness like the deer, foxes, hawk and Eagle. The trails are wonderful - everything we need is at BMR, so in theory we could just book a stay and not leave the land for our entirety. And of course, BMR is so conveniently located to Deep Creek's many delights. Blue Moon Rising's wonderful staff worked with us readily and joyfully to help us put our unique wedding vision into fruition. Our guests were blown away at experiencing a retreat-like stay during the wedding weekend. We are so grateful for the fluidity to enjoy the wedding weekend and not be so stressed with packing/unpacking or fitting our wedding/reception within specific time frames. It gave us the opportunity to share precious time with those we love, especially those who we may not get to see often!!! A big bonus are the discounts for my husband and I and our wedding guests who stayed on site with us - and we have it for the remainder of our lives!!! BMR shared with us in the beginning that by the end of the wedding, BMR staff becomes like family. This is totally accurate. We are so looking forward to visiting our BMR family again so soon!!!!

Thanksgiving 2022 Where to begin?….I guess at the start, the planning stage. We had questions, a lot of them. Whitney and the staff were always very prompt and courteous about answering our many inquiries. There are many options of places to stay in the Deep Creek area and this was our third time staying at Deep Creek(first time at Blue Moon). Because of the service we received while planning our family gathering we decided to roll the dice and chose Blue Moon Rising for our Thanksgiving destination. We are so glad we did! There were twenty-two of us! 19 adults, 1 senior, 1 toddler, 1 baby AND 7 dogs. Each of the cabins were unique and clean! We rented eleven of the 14 cabins, and every one of them exceeded our expectations! The Blue Sky was perfect for my 94 year old mother using both a walker and at times a wheelchair. This cabin was spacious enough for her to get around, she even took advantage of the ADA compliant shower which was especially appreciated. Bella Donna was quaint for my husband and I, while our single adult sons shared Skya, which was perfect for them and two of the family dogs. Several family members commented about how great the water pressure in the showers were and how nice it was to enjoy coffee (from the French press) in our individual cabins, before coming together in the Phoenix for meals, games, family chaos and zany activities. The Phoenix was perfect for meal prep and dinner. It was spacious and accommodated all of us brilliantly. I would be remiss if I did not mention Ox, a member of the staff, that continuously came to our aid. Whether it be to empty trash, take members up the hill or instruct us on firewood & recycling policies. Ox made our “tiny cabin”adventure exceptional. I would definitely recommend Blue Moon Rising, the entire experience was memorable, from the picturesque views, amazing trails to the comfortable, cozy cabins. Enjoy,
