We had 2 Queen beds and were very pleased with the room and accomations and staff very courteous. Close to beach and Butterfly reserve trail was on the property.

Beautiful place and comfy stay. Family room beds can’t be separated Pacific Grove is really pretty and easy to get around. Butterfly Grove is close nearby. We stayed in a family room, which was quiet. The beds were very comfy and the place was clean. The shower was a bit low pressure, but this is a 2 star place. One criticism, though. It was very clear when booking, so everything was as described, but a family room where the second bedroom has only a double bed that can’t be separated isn’t a useful family room, forcing the kids to sleep in the same bed. You can imagine how popular that was

Peaceful retreat Accommodations are excellent for pets and family. Front office, maintenance and housekeeping staff friendly and helpful. Very quiet neighborhood away from tourists spots. Spacious grounds adjacent to Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. Many deer crossing through the property. Pacific Grove has many amenities and beach access. Within 5 miles from Monterey Bay Aquarium. We look forward to returning to see the Monarch Butterfly migration later this year.

Definitely Will Not Be Back After staying at this inn for well over a decade, we decided enough is enough. After a change of ownership, these once pristine facilities are going downhill fast. The last three times we stayed here, our beds (three different rooms) were old and lumpy, the entryway was filthy, and our towels were so old they were almost gray! If that wasn’t bad enough, the towels were still damp.
The coffee makers and small refrigerators (noisy) need to be replaced. This past winter our fireplace didn’t work so the manager brought over a space heater. We found out from other guests that their fireplace wasn’t functioning either. We’re so disappointed by the outright neglect of this place.
