Nice Cabin This was the second time we stayed here. These are nice little cabins. We got one that slept for and it's perfect for a one night adventure. Super close to Carowinds. They do have a shuttle but we drove. Cabin was clean. Grounds were clean. Pool looked good, but we didn't get there until late, after park closed. We'd recommend it. It's bare bones, but great after a long day at the park.

Amazing Time at Camp Wilderness in Charlotte!!! We were on our family trip a week ago here at Camp Wilderness and we had the most amazing time!! Speaking for myself, it was my first cabin experience and I would definitely do this again! The staff was amazing, professional, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was an amazing experience - Christina, Angel, Mickey, Tom, Norm and the other Christina at the desk.

Not a Resort Feel This campground has lots of potential but is desperately in need of a facelift, especially considering the $79/night fee. Adding to our disappointment was that the amusement park is open only Saturday & Sunday (we visited Mon. thru Thurs.). And this is before Labor Day. The campsite cost should be adjusted down if the park is closed. The bathrooms really need attention! Quite a few long-term RVers. It is in the airport flight path. Staff is very nice.

NICE CAMPGROUND... Definitely, will stay again.. Me and 4 kids ages 12, 6, & 4. Clean, well stocked with supplies. (3 TV's was great) The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The second room has a triple bunk & twin bed. If traveling with older kids , you have to consider the space in between the triple bunk. Enjoyed a evening at the pool which does have life jackets if needed. The shuttle to Carowinds ran back & forth constantly. We barely waited 5 minutes for pick-ups. The staff was awesome!

TONS OF ROACHES _ I promised that I would review on every freaking website… Do not go to these cabins!! Tons and tons of German cockroaches all over the cabin coming out of the cracks during the daytime crawling on the beds babies crawling all over the floor. I placed a review and the property tries to come back and say oh… Sometimes our friends crawl back in… That is total BS! These did not just creep back in these have been in there for awhile. When I arrived there were dust webs everywhere going across the beds as if it had been sitting vacant for a freaking year. I complained to the property and wanted to speak to a manager for we ended up leaving at 3 o’clock in the morning because we couldn’t take it anymore I wanted some type of compensation. I did not need a refund but I should have been given some thing off. No one to this point has even given me a call. I will continue to destroy the reviews every day I will do this and I will continue to call the office until they give me some type of compensation….. this is not over. I have gone to Carowinds since I was a very young child and I have never dealt with anything like this. Whatever you do…… Stay far away stay far far away. But if you are jump camping in the camp ground …. should be just fine.
