Worth every penny! My boys (9 & 6) had a blast all weekend and we never even left the resort. Indoor waterpark was so fun and we also loved the arcade! Great food, delicious snacks, nice coffee shop. So many other activities that are included with the stay. We had planned on seeing some other attractions but my boys didn’t want to go anywhere else. We live an hour from here so we will be back again for a weekend getaway.

Great place for families Lots of kid activities every hour. Pools stay open late, to 1 1pm. Staff was great. Friendly. If you needes towels or anything, you text them and they bring it to you quickly. Close to everything. Lots of family attractions near by. You can walk to the Island. BUT THE PIZZA WAS DIGUSTING. And all their food is frozen and thrown in a microwave which they burned it. So i recommended bringing your own food or go out to eat. They have a arcade on 2nd floor. Laundry mat w a s 3rd floor. Very small workout gym on 4th floor. But it is expensive to buy laundry detergent so bring your own.

Great wolf lodge rip off I stayed at Country Cascades Waterpark Resort as part of a promotion. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows leave a lot to be desired. There is a communal microwave located on each floor. No coffee maker in room but one can purchase expensive coffee in the coffee shop located on main floor. Place is credit card only. Ever been to Great Wolf Lodge, then think of a cheaper version on a smaller scale with less customer service. The pool designs are great! They advertise heated pools, but I couldn't even put in my big toe. Of the five kids with me, all but one could tolerate the cold water. Even the others would ask to go warm up. Dance party at the end of the evening is so loud, kids/adults were holding hands over their ears. We ordered two pizzas on site, and they were huge but raw. When asked to cook them longer was told the kitchen was closing in five minutes and they couldn't recook something a guest had already picked up. They don't sell day passes to pool so I ended up purchasing a second room to accommodate a child who was staying with his parent at another hotel. They will provide you with towels but will not clean the room unless you make a reservation and pay an extra $25. If you want to stay past the checkout time of 11am, you can pay $50 per hour. My friend paid an extra $100 (didn't tell me she was doing so) but got locked out of her room at 11am. It took close to 30 minutes to get someone to unlock her door. If you are concerned about health reasons you may want to pause before making a reservation. This hotel allows WILD DUCKS to swim in its gorgeous advertised outdoor heated pool (NOT). Yet there is a sign that states if your child isn't potty trained to please wear a swim diaper. When I brought to the attention to the lifeguard the ducks were pooping in the pool, she said "yes, they swim in the pool all the time.!" I had to swap rooms on my last night due to some family leaving a day early. When I took my grandson to have his wrist band updated for entrance to the new room, I was told I had already checked out. I stated my reservation through the company was for 3 nights and 4 days. They said yes, but you have checked out. I said obviously I haven't, I am standing here. After waiting 20 minutes, I told my grandson, we would come back. We observed that it appears that between 12:30-1:30 no one mans the front desk, the expense coffee shoppe nor secondary gift shoppe. I accidentally left my key fob in the room. It cost me close to $20 to have them contact an outside company to pick up my key and mail to me. It cost $8.95 for the pickup and an additional $10 for the postage. The box the key came in was a recycled amazon box. Our party was spilt between two buildings. If you are lucky enough to stay in the so-called main building, it's great! However, if you are in the other building you have to walk outside to gain entrance to the pools, water park, and all other activities. (FYI, it's not too bad if weather is warm, but if weather is cool/cold, it's miserable.). We had warm and cold days. FYI: They keep the entrance to the outdoor pool that is very close to the second building, locked at all times. This makes the guest have to walk a great distance to enter the main entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, the indoor pool, located in the main building empties into the main entrance of the hotel and has ceramic tile on the floor. Not only did one of my kids burst their rear end on the floor, but I saw a few adults hit the tile as well. There is more I could say, but this is the gist. Would I return to this place, I don't think so.
