I enjoyed just was a couple of things that need to updated now on the Groupon it tells you all you are going to get with the room. I believe if you tell customers that they have to pay for breakfast and I booked a king room but when I got there they put me in a 2 bedroom everything else was good.

Availed their hotel deal and went to Courtyard by Marriott but to my surprise the hotel staff says there were no room available at the day i booked it on Groupon. She told me that Groupon is not coordinating their bookings being the 3rd party, but will charged you right away and even appeared as “Redeemed’ how was that?! Filed for refund, still waiting for them to process, no contact number too!

Just Average.. Room 321 I checked in to see a friend who lived nearby on Tuesday, November 14th with checkout early Wednesday, November 15th. Check in by Robin was just ok, she could’ve been a little more friendlier. The room was nice, Room 321 with two double beds. It was quiet and comfortable. Many restaurant choices were right across I-14 freeway, but there were choices within walking distance like fast food. I requested to pay with cash at checkout, so before 6am at checkout, I was disappointed by the night auditor that he couldn’t allow me to pay with cash or to split the bill with cash and card. Customers should have the choice to pay with cash if possible, so this is why I’m only giving 3 claws instead of 4. They need to train their front line employees to allow cash transactions, or I won’t be returning to this particular hotel. Thank you for reading my review of Courtyard by Marriott in Palmdale, CA. This Hotel Will Not Honor Reservations Beware! Hotel management is dishonest and will not honor reservations. I had a rate secured using an official US government site where US government rates are pre-negotiated with the hotel chains and had this rate for weeks, but upon check-in, the manager did not honor that rate and manually increased the daily rate by 45% based on the rate available on the check in day. She (Autum Keys) was unwilling to honor the reservation. I had a US Government secured rate that was not honored. I secured a “US Government” negotiated rate and provided US government ID at check-in, which I have done countless times at other properties, but at this hotel the rate is not honored and my ID is deemed fake! I then sent a complaint to the Marriott Bonvoy club member services and received a reply from them stating that the problem was my official US Government identification presented a check-in was not valid. Really? The same US Government ID that has been presented to military police and granted me access to military bases is now deemed by the Marriott hotel manger as an invalid identification? Marriott hotel management is now so smart so as to detect fake US Government identifications at check-in that US Government military police are incapable of detecting. Amazing! She never stated in this whole ordeal that the issue was my identification, that only came out later and after the Marriott Bonvoy complaint was filed. This is dishonest and hotel management is dishonest.

Stale room in Palmdale Room smelled of stale food. Telephone didn’t work, coffee set up was missing sugar and creamer. We we able to hear noise from other rooms. Left early due to unhappy experience. Staff was unable to help with discrepancies.
