Kissimmee, Florida: Easy Access to World-Famous Theme Parks and Major Orlando Attractions

Located on the banks of Lake Tohopekaliga, Kissimmee sits about 22 miles from downtown Orlando and just 16 miles from the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. The world’s most-visited entertainment resort spans roughly 30,000 acres, encompassing four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day at Magic Kingdom® Park by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. After that, ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. For dinner, head over to Epcot® to sample cuisine from Morocco, Mexico, France, Italy, and several other countries. As one of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is home to other theme parks including Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as the CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which holds improv shows five nights a week.

My only complaint was that there was a TON (like groups of them everywhere) College-aged people there and at least 5 hotel room parties going on. We didn't get to use the Hot Tub because there were at least 20 college kids in there with beers. We didn't feel comfortable. It was a bit too rowdy for our taste.

This was a horrible experience the hotel said we had no reservation and they no longer would deal with Groupon. I still have not received a refund 11 days later from Groupon and we had to book another hotel at a higher cost the day we arrived because this hotel was full. Groupon customer service has been awful only text and still no refund!!!!

Budget hotel Well run but getting dated. Room, lobby, hallways, elevator all clean but dated. Staff very friendly. Convenience store, McDonald’s, lunch cafe all within 1 minute walk. Many good eateries less than 5 minutes by car. Desk setup, king bed, large shower enough but dated. Fridge ok but no freezer like newer hotels, microwave and coffee machine but coffee was cheap and like water. Stayed 7 days but only maid service on 4 th day. No safe. No restaurant.

Great hotel! Everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful. Great people! The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed (hair dryer, hangers, iron and ironing board). The shower head had adjustable water pressure. It’s weird to mention but I noticed the elevator was the most gentle lift so I was unsure we were even moving. They have a laundry room. It was a wonderful week staying here. Don’t go to a big chain like Hilton (which is strangling Orlando) and come here instead!

So So Hotel If you are looking to book a cheap good price place to stay in the Orlando Kissimmee Florida area hen maybe this is a good place. But beware that the hotel is not that good. The location is not that good either. It has places around to eat and do stuff but the place itself it's not that pretty.
