Located along Oregon’s Pacific coast, about 80 miles northwest of Portland, the resort town of Seaside has attracted beachcombers since the late 19th century. More recently, the coastal village has become a family destination marked by historical buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and plenty of kid-friendly activities, including mini golf, bumper cars, and arcades.

A 1.5-mile oceanfront promenade—known locally as the Prom—stretches along the beach, its boardwalk speckled with shops and restaurants near grass-covered dunes. Along the Prom, you’ll find a bronze statue of Lewis and Clark that faces the ocean at the historic Seaside Turnaround—the spot where the explorers are thought to have ended their epic westward trek. The Seaside Aquarium is also located along the promenade. Pop in to visit its aquatic residents, including a giant Pacific octopus, tropical fish, and several crowd-pleasing harbor seals.

A Lucky Find This hotel was our shelter in the storm. We arrived into town with no reservations. The front desk was most helpful and professional. She quickly found us an excellent room. We chose an ocean view room and loved it. Room was very clean and had lots of extras. This included Kcups for coffee, teas, and a little bag of taffy. Our room did not have AC, but we did not need it. We slept with the windows open, listening to the wind blow and waves crash all night. Water pressure in shower good. There were a plethora of clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. Breakfast was included in the morning and super popular. There was a rather large number of people with children, so obviously a family-friendly destination. We only got coffee since we were heading out. All in all, 10 out of 10. Thank you, Ebb Tide!

Don’t misjudge this Hotel it might surprise you ! Normally ,I really don’t like staying at older hotels but This one was such a good experience for both of us. First, the hotel price was very reasonable and I wanted a view of the ocean But my husband didn’t want to pay for it so the front desk gal suggested A partial view at a good price . We took that and frankly it was pretty much like Having a full view . The room had a balcony too. The room was large and the beds were super comfy. I’m very particular about Beds but this one totally meet my expectations and we both slept well. There was a fireplace in the room and they also give you taffy.which I love. The gal at check in said to come back for cookies at 6pm and that they were really Good. Boy, she was not exaggerating ! Not only were these some of the best cookies I’ve had at a hotel but they had quite a selection. So we just stayed one night but I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway spot right on the ocean! Ebbtide Oceanfront Inn checked all the boxes for us! Vincent the manager, Angela and the whole team here were super friendly and extremely helpful! The room had a beautiful view of the ocean, was so cozy and super clean, the toiletries in the room for the price were above and beyond what I was expecting. They even had sleepy time tea, coffee and even candy in the room! I was so happy to see how pet friendly this hotel was. There’s a pool and a hot tub inside if you’d like to have a little R&R and their “grab n go” breakfast was beyond expectations and was so yummy! You can step outside the inn and the beach and boardwalk is right at your doorstep! Overall an amazing stay with the best team, thank you for making my time in Oregon so enjoyable!! Advice for travellers: Book directly through the website or call the hotel and not through a booking site
