GREAT Value We got a KILLER rate, so the stay started off w/ a 5 STAR! However "check in" was a nightmare and their "chat" & "early check in" function on the BONVOY wasn't working. The hotel was clean, spacious and quiet.
Breakfast was very good. The bar wasn't stocked w/ several premium alcohols. Inexcusable for a wknd., but we managed.
Overall, a VERY GOOD experience w/ few exceptions.

Horrible customer service! The room was fantastic. Guest relations was horrible! I don't think I have ever had a customer service or guest service representative speak to my wife and I that way! There is no reason to be a jerk at 5am. If you don't like your job, QUIT!!!!!!

Element Miami International Does Not Deliver as advertised and Staff Unhelpful The Element advertised 24 hour shuttle from Airport on internet and it only ran to 11:30 pm. Also advertised they had a shuttle to our Cruise port in Miami and the told us after we arrived that they had discontinued that service. Major reason we chose the Element were for those benefits and they apparently don't update their online information. Morning buffet was good. Staff was not helpful. When we called for a shuttle from the Airport to the hotel, they could have told us to take the Metromover over to the rental car area near the airport, and an elevator down to the road they are located on and the walk would have be half a mile instead of 3-4 miles at 1130 pm. They single handedly made our stay in Miami terrible. Will not go there ever again.
