My kiddos had a blast… we didn’t even get to do half of the things because we came late but they had fun. Really would recommend to others.

Have not been disappointed here, Park is always clean, water attractions are great and they have the best and most attentive lifeguards on duty.

Great Wolf Lodge Scottsdale – Worth It for Families We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge Scottsdale with our two kids and were pleasantly surprised by how much value we got from the trip. The indoor waterpark was the highlight—clean, spacious, and fun for all ages. Between the slides, splash areas, and wave pool, our kids stayed entertained for hours.
What really made the stay worth the cost was the convenience. Everything is under one roof, and many activities—like arts & crafts, yoga, story time, and character visits—are completely free. MagiQuest was also a favorite, and sharing one wand between siblings helped keep costs down.
We booked a standard suite, which was clean, comfortable, and the best value for our family. Food options were good, and we found the Dining Plan helpful when purchased ahead of time. The all-you-can-eat breakfast was especially worth it.
To save money, I recommend booking off-peak dates, using promo codes, bringing your own snacks or breakfast items, and joining the rewards program. You’re also free to bring food, leave the property, or order delivery, which adds flexibility.
A one-night stay is surprisingly enough—you get two full days of waterpark access, so arriving early and staying late made it feel like a full weekend.
Overall, Great Wolf Lodge delivered a fun, easy, activity-filled getaway at a fair price, especially with a few simple money-saving strategies. We would absolutely return.

Wonderful stay with something for everyone! We absolutely LOVED our trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Scottsdale, AZ. We were greeted with a friendly and extremely helpful team (Tori was the BEST for getting our pack all checked in and set up for our 5 night stay!)! We were able to do the unlimited pass that allowed our whole pack to have unlimited ropes course, mini golf, rock wall, mirror maze, and soda sippers. We loved the slides and the indoor waterpark with the lazy river for relaxation and enjoyment. The wave pool was great, and the kiddie area was wonderful. We have children ranging in ages from 13 down to 2, and there was something for everyone. We really enjoyed this location and the surrounding areas, and hope to make another trip back next fall!

Great value for family fun In reading other reviews my expectations were low. I was anticipating mediocre accommodations, over priced food, and questionable staff.
My family of 4 stayed for a week and we were very pleased. Staff and lifeguards were excellent - anyone saying the lifeguards were inattentive were not critiquing this current group. All staff serving food or handing us towels were extremely friendly and cheerful.
Value - Food was very reasonable for a resort. I was surprised at how good it was, and yes, $30 is a lot for a breakfast buffet, but you can also get an inexpensive sandwich from Duncan Donuts as an alternative. There are many food choices!
Activities like rock climbing or the mini golf were as expected resort prices. I was impressed that buying essentials like sunscreen was not marked up at all. Same price as I could get on Amazon.
Pool - The outdoor pool was our favorite, but unfortunately it is only open 11-5. We were also disappointed that we couldn’t use our little floaties that we take to Mexico. No drinks in the pool either. Felt like there are a lot of rules… but they did let us toss a football at least. We did notice the pool deck wasn’t washed regularly. The same sticky ice cream mess was there all week by the lounge chairs. We also noticed they didn’t enforce the “no outside food” rules consistently. We’d see families with bags of Cheetos or Taco Bell, clearly not purchased at the resort.
Indoor pool was better than I expected in off season. Slides were fun for adults and kids!
Room/hotel in general - we travel frequently and the poor quality toilet paper and Kleenex stood out! It’s funny how the little things like that make an impression - I’ve never thought to complain about toilet paper before. Housekeeping was very friendly but inconsistent. We would be out of our room 9-3 and come back to the rooms as we left them. I had to hunt down coffee for the room every night, that was never refilled.
I was really happy with the mini fridge and microwave down the hall. Disappointed no gym or laundry on site. Nothing was run down or dirty (other than the pool deck - not sure where those reviews came from)
For the price- I was very happy with our stay. If you have a young family that loves waterslides and pools, don’t hesitate to stay here.
