Orlando, Florida: World-Famous Theme Parks and Cultural Surprises

Located in the center of Florida, Orlando may be forever associated with the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks—the world’s most-visited entertainment resort. Spanning roughly 30,000 acres, it encompasses four theme parks, two water parks, five golf courses, and the Disney Springs® Area. There’s no shortage of things to do here: begin your day by boarding a rocket-shaped three-seater that climbs to 180 feet before entering a deep black tunnel and racing past stars, satellites, and constellations. Walk across the park to sample Moroccan cuisine for lunch, or ride a dune buggy through a haunted mansion. Before heading back to the hotel, take in the nightly fireworks, laser, and water show. One of the most popular family destinations in the world, sunny Orlando is also home to Universal Orlando—which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter—SeaWorld, and Gatorland.

Those hoping to shake up the typical theme-park-dominated itinerary can head into downtown Orlando's vibrant arts district. The neighborhood boasts venues such as CityArts Factory, a multifaceted patchwork of gallery spaces, and SAK Comedy Lab, which hosts family-friendly improv shows five nights a week.

Big resort with tons to do. It was clean and nice except the hallway carpet had a smell. But the lobby and the apartment was nice and clean. Loved the pools and the waterpark.

Spacious rooms, but clogged bathtub and brown liquid coming out of bathroom floor I called maintenance supposedly clear the clogged and no one came the next day to clean the floor or to bring towels to replace the dirty ones from the floor.

Devins 3rd birthda Normally, I take my family twice a year to Atlantis in the Bahamas. This year due to a death in the family and taking my very young 87-year-old mother. We could not travel out of the USA. Hence we found a Gold mine!!the The Grove exceeded all my expectations!! The staff handled some issues I encountered upon check in immediately. Going forward . I must say. Our stay was beyond!!! Being able to swim with my grandchildren till 10 pm what a luxury! Everything at our fingertips!! The staff impeccable to say the least!! The rooms so so comfortable and spacious! I simply have not one bad thing to say. I travel several times a year. As do my children. Having said that! Welcome to my new resort. Thank you again to Olivia, and her remarkable staff who go out of their way to make each families stay the very best

Kind employees make the resort great While my family and I had some bumps in the road in terms of getting locked out of our room, no fresh towels, etc etc. Deborah at the market who works at Starbucks was the absolute highlight here. Her kindness and warmth each morning as I get my coffee made my days of Disney magic start off strong! She went out of her way with top notch. She is definitely a highlight at The Grove. Thanks Deborah!

Huge rooms, everything else disappoints. Rooms are brilliant, absolutely huge, the rest is a let down. There were plenty of issues that brought the score down. Noisy guests doing karaoke in there room until 3 in the morning that security did nothing about, despite being asked repeatedly. A lot of the staff spoke no English at all, which made ordering etc quite difficult. The shop is ridiculously overpriced, you expect there to be a mark-up, but it was more expensive that Disney. You can't really walk anywhere from the hotel, as the main road has no sidewalk / pavement, meaning you wait and pay for an Uber to go to a local shop etc. At the weekend there were nowhere near enough loungers by the pool, we had enough for our group, but if you went to the bar or in the pool other guests would just sit on it, with all your belongings still there. Constant smell of weed The shuttle to Disney is clearly there just to say they have one. It goes once a day, arriving an hour after the parks open and is extremely difficult to get a seat on, every time we tried it was already full. I'd expected it would shuttle backwards and forwards between the hotel and Disney all day.
