Hotel at a Glance: Guest Inn Pigeon Forge

Cowboy hats and painted-on jeans aren’t required at the Guest Inn Pigeon Forge, but they’ll certainly help you fit in. The inn is near the glitz-and-glam epicenter of Tennessee—Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede is right down the street, and Dollywood is just a few miles away.

  • Dining options aplenty: Themed restaurants, diners, and pancake houses pepper the parkway that runs past the hotel.

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee: Family-Friendly Attractions in the Great Smoky Mountains

Though it’s secluded in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge is home to some quirky destinations, including Dollywood, a Titanic museum that looks just like the famed ocean liner from the outside, and an interactive children’s museum housed in an upside-down three-story building. In Pigeon Forge’s historical town center, a cluster of old-fashioned specialty shops and restaurants forms the Old Mill Square along the Little Pigeon River. Inside the mill, a pair of 4,600-pound granite stones has been grinding grain since the early 1800s.

I would stay here again. For the money, it was a good place to stay. Room was clean. A little on the small side, but for me it was fine. The man at the front desk was very polite and helpful. He recommended a nice place to eat. Breakfast was the typical continental type. Again, not bad for the money.

Excellent breakfast, good clean room for the buck, and good check in and out service. No complaints.

Scam! Beware! Scam! Beware! Charged $260 cancellation fee even though I cancelled by the deadline. I was planning to stay here again in the future, but I will NEVER do business with this hotel again! It's impossible to reach a human at their front desk phone number. A recording gives you two extension options, but when you press the options, a recording tells you that the extension is not valid and that there is no voice mail. Try calling them and see for yourself how bad their service is.

GROSS and unsafe I booked and paid for 2 nights, but left after 1 night. Stains on bed, carpet, and pillows. Don't pull the comforter off the bed, you won't like what you see! MOLDY, musty smells that will make you sick. Slept with my clothes on, with my mouth and nose covered. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The health department should be notified!!!

Needs Improvement First off, interacting with the staff was no problem. However, when we stepped on the elevator it needed cleaning. Next, upon reaching the floor of our room, there was a stuffy, thick, musty odor throughout the entire floor. The smell was so strong, it was disgusting and made me feel very uncomfortable. Needless to say, the smell was also in our room. There were large stains in the carpet throughout the floor. Thank goodness we only needed this place for one night. I’m in my timeshare place as I’m writing this review, and it’s so refreshing to be in a wonderful, clean and inviting atmosphere (no musty odor or stains)! Additionally, like the one previous review, the water temperature for the shower was extremely hot, and there was no middle adjustment on the knob to cool it down. I had to wash up via the sink. Lastly, this is one place I do not recommend , and we will not be returning here!!
