The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Head to LINQ Promenade for a shopping and dining experience, then ride atop the High Roller observation wheel. Thanks to the strip’s re-creation of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Roman Empire at Caesars Palace, you can virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Trip of a lifetime!! I'm 67 years old and this was the best vacation I have ever had! Went to 2 Donny Osmond VIPs and shows and had the time of my life!! Harrahs was excellent in all categories and the front desk folks were very good to me. Housekeeping did a great job as well. Thank you ever so much for making my trip memorable and I can't wait to come back! Sincerely, Ricki

Love this Hotel This trip was for five women and the stay at Harrah’s was amazing. I’ve been to Vegas at least a dozen times, and Harrah’s was the best hotel I’ve been to. The location is prime on the strip. The room was clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable. It was a little warm at night, but we just turned the air conditioner down. The shower had great water pressure and there was plenty of room to get ready. I love that there was a vanity table with a lighted mirror to put on my makeup. The casino was great with a variety of slot machines. I didn’t win big, but I hit just enough bonuses to keep me happy. Waitresses came around frequently and were very quick to deliver drinks. There are food options right by the casino (including a Starbucks!) that have great options for any meal. And the prices weren’t too outrageous. We went to the pool for a little bit and it was also very clean. I chatted It up with the life guards who were very friendly and put up with the ‘mom’ talking to them! Overall I was very impressed and will definitely stay here again.

Didn't Disappoint! Harrahs didn't disappoint! Clean and friendly. My favorite spot on the strip. It is right in the middle of everything. They have a great outdoor bar with live music and fun bartenders. Beautiful casino. Lots of table games and slots to choose from. We watched the country burlesque show and it was entertaining and fun. Harrahs comps used to be impressive, hoping they still are. Great place to stay on the strip.

Bait and switch- you end up paying for their mistake AVOID- this place. They make you self check in- a mistake was made with my reservations. I reserved 2 rooms when I checked in they were floors apart, had to go up to the front desk and talk to front desk person( which is what I wanted to do instead of self check in but they said I couldn’t), she said the hotel made a mistake when entering my rooms in the system. She was able to find me 2 rooms on the same floor, I said that was fine they didn’t need to be connecting as long as they were close. Went to check out to find out she put us in more expensive rooms so the bill was over $130 more per room than my original reservation. I felt scammed, I requested they correct this and basically was told - uh sorry nothing we can do. Bad enough you pay a $50 resort fee for nothing then they make you pay for their booking error.

Decent Comfortable Stay I have been to Vegas about a dozen times and have stayed at many hotels. I enjoyed my stay at Harrahs. My check-in was friendly and helpful. D.O. was great to deal with during my check-in, she was great! The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel, is very central.
