Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia: Mountain Views and Adventure on Harrison Lake

Visitors have been seeking out the healing powers of Harrison Hot Springs since the 19th century, when European settlers stumbled on the site located about 80 miles from Vancouver. You can access the mineral-rich water from a public pool fed by two different springs at the south end of Harrison Lake. Of course, there’s more to do in town than soak. The lake is a popular spot for kayaking, paddleboating, and fishing; the surrounding mountains offer plenty of hiking opportunities. In winter, you can hit the slopes at Hemlock Resort, situated about an hour outside of the village. Just north of town, Sasquatch Provincial Park features several pocket lakes scattered amid a lush forest.

Very disappointed with the 2 night stay The hotel is not honest with its ads. No underground parking to access the elevator. Mini suite without balcony. Handicap accessible is very poor. Parking lot not underground is $10.00 a day. Pinned to our room as the accessiblity for a walker was so poor we could not leave our room.

Lovely hotel Located on the side of Harrison Lake with amazing views. We had recently renovated rooms that were decorated well with nice furniture. The room was also very well equipped. The hotel is very clean and has a good car park at the back. We would definitely come back here.

average stay The hotel is fairly nice. We stayed in a junior suite in front of the lake, view obstructed by the trees. The kitchen stove top only had 2 working elements and the dishes (pot, tea kettle) were very very dirty and old. Staff was nice. pool was clean.
