Beautiful downtown Portland Such a great experience staying at the Heathman. Shout out to the staff for working with me to set out balloons to surprise my friend and for making our stay so special. Location is great and love the valet parking. Easily walkable to restaurants and sites. Definitely would stay again.

Disappointed Double rooms are advertised on the website as having lots of light and city views but this is inaccurate. They are interior rooms with views of a wall and hvac vents. We learned that only a couple of the double rooms on the highest floor clear the wall and it is still a stretch to say “city views.” If you need two beds, I would stay elsewhere. It felt dark and dingy. The rooms in the outside that look out on the city are likely very nice.

No housekeeping, food credit not applied My food and beverage credit was not applied for one of the days of my stay. A request for housekeeping that was made over 24 hours in advance was not honored, with the room remaining uncleaned for the entire stay; I needed to phone for clean towels and trash removal. On the basis of this experience, I would not stay here again, and I don't think you should either. There are other, better options in the Portland area.

OK The hotel is a nice hotel and great location. The reason for the mediocre score…… they don’t service the rooms unless you ask, and they don’t tell you that at the beginning. I don’t mind so much that but I do mind staying in a suite and having to make a call just to get toilet paper.

Charming classic hotel in downtown area Nice classic hotel in downtown Portland. It was rainy when we visited and the hotel provided nice big umbrellas and was also very hospitable in recommending nearby spots. The room was small but had everything we needed for a night in the city.
