Heidel House Resort & Spa sits on a 20-acre estate on the shores of Green Lake—Wisconsin’s deepest natural lake and a popular destination for outdoor recreation. Surrounded by rolling hills and tall oak trees, the resort is a go-to spot for year-round recreation. You can rent a bike to pedal around the property, or, when winter comes, skate around the resort’s ice rink.
The hotel’s Evensong Spa was named one of the country’s best by Spas of America in 2013. The main attraction is a labyrinth constructed from ceramic tiles and river rocks that occupies 2,000 square feet and features glass-window walls looking out on woodland scenery.
Additionally, Heidel House Resort is home to several restaurants with lakefront views. A Wine Spectator award winner since 2002, the casual restaurant Grey Rock puts an innovative twist on steaks, seafood, and other staples.
