Never again We reserved our room thru Expedia. We requested a handicap accessible/roll in shower room. Confirmed. At check-in my husband asked the person at the front desk if it was possible to get this room near an exterior door since I have difficulty walking. He was told--no problem. Our room was 2 doors from the exterior door. Perfect! The problem? That door couldn't be opened from the outside. My husband had to walk all the way around the building to the front door to get into the building. The next day--same thing. He tried another door (so he wouldn't have to walk all the way to the front door) Same result. He complained to the front desk and was told sometimes those doors won't open! I guess it was asking too much to fix the problem. Housekeeping--- There was a sign on the bathroom mirror saying maid service was every other day. We stayed 3 nights and never got our room refreshed. No clean towels, bed unmade, trash cans overflowing etc. My husband complained to the front desk and was told that housekeeping was understaffed. We saw the maids in the hallway down from our room when we left. That would have been the day we should have had our room cleaned. Didn't happen. TV--- The hotel was upgrading their cable tv package, so very few tv channels were available---maybe around 10 or 12. No local channels. We felt like we were being penalized because we booked thru Expedia. The staff seemed indifferent to our complaints. Next visit to Memphis will definitely stay somewhere else. This location was very disappointing.

Great receptionists Ishea, was a great receptionist, she had the hotel decorated beautifully. It was valentine day. The rooms were clean. The breakfast sausage was delicious. The manager was great also. The hotel was clean. The security was very visible they actually rode the parking lot all night and day, made you feel safe and secure. Close to the hospital if you are there to visit love one.

The Broken and filthy Room 141 When we showed up at Hampton, we were told a 100.00 additional charge was required in the event of room damage or in hotel purchase. Was not expecting this. But I thought this indicates the hotel was on top of room conditions. Sadly when we tried to open our door (room 141) The lock was broken and the whole lock slid from side to side. I immediately reported this to the front desk. I was told that maintenance had checked out for the day. I am pretty sure the amount of damage to this lock and the missing hardware indicates this was not the first time this may have been reported. No apology, no offer to put us in a different and safe room was made. Oh and did I forget to mention, this was a non refundable room. The carpet was stained throughout the room. It looked like grease stains. We kept our shoes on , while walking in the room. The corner by the window unit had spider webs and dirt. The bathroom corners were dirty. The toilet paper roller was broken. The outlet cover by the bed was missing another safety issue. The plug between the bed had malfunctioning usb2 and the plug was just dangling there and not attached to anything. There clearly is no quality control or safety inspections, room inspections are non existent, properly trained house keeping doesn’t seem to be a priority , seeing other reviews, management clearly doesn’t have the experience, training, or concern for the customer to take simple actions to fix problems and safety issues that even the untrained eye can spot. I would say that the breakfast was the high point of the stay. Good selection of food. I found the nicest and most pleasant staff there. If I could rate them separately, I would give them a five star review and the rest of the faculty a ONE star review. The corporate offices really need to get involved in helping the management get a clue on how to do it right, be successful, and most importantly keep the customer safe. I wouldn’t recommend staying here due to the safety and hygiene issues that have been noted in recent reviews of this same facility months ago??? If you really need pictures, I have them. I took them upon checking in and leaving. Especially with my money on the line and your clear lack of concern for room upkeep. Based on the previous pictures shown, it is unnecessary and will not make a difference.

Don’t stay here. RUN and RUN fast Don’t stay here. I checked in my room when recd notification that room was ready. Checked n for room on first floor(traveling with 90 year old mother). put me on second floor. sheets torn, comforter stained, tv channels scrambled. claimed they are changing network…. when I complained they offered to cancel my reservation and find a new one hotel. I was eventually moved to 1st floor. comforter still stained. TV had 6 working channels thus time. front desk staff DeVaul, rude as ever. This is low budget motel under Hilton name.
