the best part was the bed, the view, and the $10 credit you get everyday. everything i wanted to do was in walking distance and the staff was very friendly and helpful

Mediocre hotel This hotel is way too noisy it's an old building and you hear a lot of street noise even at higher floor level. There's no sound protection. The decor is dated and worn in the rooms. It's alright for a short stay - but as I had longer for work I regretted my decision to book here, unaware from the reviews that this was too noisy and old. Would not stay again. In Australian dollars this would have to be a very nice hotel, but it's really not.

Great location,good staff,nice room and facilities. The hotel is in a great location. Things like the Empire state building and the Broadway theatres are all in walking distance. The staff are very helpful and the hotel is clean. It's got 3 elevators and we weren't waiting around for them. The place seems really efficient and we'd a great stay for 6 nights. We had breakfast there a couple of times and it was more than adequate at a reasonable price. The room was comfy and had working air conditioning. Honestly couldn't fault the place.

Great location. Great tram For those wanting to see Times Square, this is a great location. It is also perfectly situated for Broadway theatres, Bryant Park (skating in winter), Macys etc. The rooms are all relatively the same, but consistency is not a bad thing. The team at reception - Ibeth, Michelle, Avre, Melissa et. al - are all very welcoming although, given its size, the check in area can be a little chaotic at times. Regardless, the staff all keep a happy demeanour.
