It’s not the hotel that I’m complaining about. It’s Groupon that messed the reservation up by letting me book a room with a place that was already fully booked and charging for it.

Unwarranted charges, zero communication, poor business practice The Holiday Inn Chandler charged our employee a $500 smoking fee. Incidentally he doesn't smoke. He asked for proof of the "monitor" and was denied. We called corporate and were given the managers name. Multiple calls, no response. We disputed with our card company and they provided them with some type of monitor. They have several complaints of this type and I believe they are scamming customers. Their complete lack or response or professional communication drives this home for me and warrants the 1 star I'm giving them. It would be a zero if I could and we will not do business their again.

Nickel and Dime you for a basic room The room was good. But, I was very dissatisfied at the way that this motel nickel and dimes guest with extra charges. This is a roadside motel, not a busy downtown motel, yet they add on an additional $12 for parking!! There should not be any extra parking fee for a motel located in the suburbs, and, if they do, it should certainly be made clear on the website, rather than just at check-in. They also add an extra charge for breakfast ... not a special breakfast with menu items and table service ... just the typical motel breakfast with scrambled egg-whites and cold cereal! The motel is a bit run down. And, there was only a single ice machine in operation when I stayed, YET they seem to fancy themselves as an upscale motel with pricey add-ons which should be included in the price of the room. Don't stay here, unless you like to be nickel and dimed for basic services!!

Perfect experience at this Holiday Inn Perfect experience working with the Holiday Inn Chandler team on an event for our customers in the region. Malene, their event coordinator, made everything so simple and easy to manage since the beginning. Later, during the event, she managed to every single request with the best disposition. I totally recommend this hotel for any kind of event, but also to spend the night there. They have a great pool for those hot days in Phoenix… hope to have time next trip to enjoy it!
