The Las Vegas Strip: 24/7 Entertainment and Fine Dining

With an almost unlimited variety of casinos, bars and nightclubs, and live entertainment, the general consensus along the Las Vegas Strip seems to be “go big or go home.” And you can go really big here. Make a beeline for the dozens of 24-hour casinos lining the neon-lit Strip to tango with Lady Luck in high-stakes games of roulette, blackjack, and poker; or grab a front-row seat to the city’s over-the-top glitz at nightly magic, acrobatic, and musical performances. Be sure to stick around for mealtimes—casinos on the Strip are known for their fine-dining restaurants and extravagant buffets overflowing with crab legs and prime rib.

Even Sin City isn’t all casinos, all the time. Go shopping at the high-end boutiques found inside most hotels on the Las Vegas Strip, or head to Fashion Show Las Vegas to browse racks at Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. You can also virtually travel the globe in just a few city blocks, thanks to the Strip’s re-creation of the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, and Venetian canals. And you’ll find a surprising number of activities in Las Vegas for kids hidden amid the raucous nightlife.

Disappointed & angry First the check in process was horrible they make you go to two lines to check in. the natzi controlling the line chaos was wearing a mask that muffled her words & she got an attitude with me. I couldn't hear what she was mumbling. She proceed to tell me she spoke 4 languages. I said try English. The room shower leaked on to the bath floor & the Ac unit was loud & didnt cool very well & it was April.

Great atmosphere The Horseshoe Casino is a great place to gamble and have drinks. They have a fun atmosphere and the location is great. We were close to many other casinos and restaurants. The rooms and elevators could use a little work but overall it was a nice stay.

wasted over 30 mins just to get into my room I used the self check-in kiosk at around 4:30 PM on the 23rd and received my room key, but when I arrived at the room, the key didn’t work. I called customer service, and they said the door lock’s battery was dead and I had to wait for an engineer and security to come. After waiting, they told me the real issue was that my key hadn’t been programmed, and I needed to go back to the lobby to get a new one. The whole process wasted over 30 minutes. I had just driven five hours from California for a business meeting, and due to the delay, I didn’t have time to change clothes and had to attend the meeting in casual wear, which was very embarrassing. What made the experience worse was that the front desk staff didn’t seem apologetic at all and treated it like a normal, recurring issue. I also couldn’t find a manager to speak to. For a hotel meant to serve travelers, this level of service was very disappointing.

Over Billed & Ignored I’ll start with the good to worse. The Horseshoe was very clean and updated. I loved the casino floor and gaming. I ate all my meals in the food court which was tasty, the main restaurants were just a little too pricey for me such as $34.00 hamburgers. Next I’m not happy with the check-in Service. I arrived 2 hours early for checkin and the Resort wanted $60 for early checkin, so I passed and stood in line with over a hundred others who were all complaining about the bad service and past experiences. Lastly I checked out before the sun came up 4 days later, I notified the hotel and was on the road by sunrise. Here’s the worst… I was billed for a late check out of $45. I’ve requested it to be reversed twice now via emailing the billing department with no response. I called today and was told I requested a late departure which is not true. I don’t know what’s worse, over billing me or ignoring me? I’d stay here again but I would get a receipt for my every interaction. Robert Cooper
