Albuquerque: Multicultural City with Long, Storied Past

Not only is Albuquerque New Mexico’s largest city, it’s also one of the state’s most culturally diverse. Since its official founding in 1706, Spanish, Mexican, and Native American influences have shaped the local culture, reflected in the city’s distinctive Pueblo Revival–style architecture.

The bulk of Albuquerque’s cultural offerings center on Old Town, where you’ll find art galleries and restaurants housed within historic adobe buildings. About a mile northeast of Old Town, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center has an impressive collection of artifacts dating back to pre-Columbian settlers. The museum building is inspired by the Pueblo Bonito ruins of Chaco Canyon.

I knew that everything was going to be great as soon as I was greeted by a very welcoming & delightful Valerie at the Front Desk. The hotel did not disappoint. A beautiful & classy ambiance indoors & out, with a well-appointed & immaculate room, I was more than pleased. A total pleasure my entire stay. I'll be back!

Fantastic services as soon as I arrived! Just arrived and the service has been fantastic already! Janelle helped me check in and has the best concierge / customer service approach! She is helpful, humorous, offered me cold water after a day of flying, and helped me with a discrepancy in my booking quickly and graciously. It haven’t been treated this well at a hotel in ages! Then, Laney valeted my car and brought my bags to my room. Again, friendly, personable. Wow! This hotel knows how to hire talent!

Fancy Stay in ABQ. Very clean and accommodating. This is more a resort type stay than your typical hotel. For example, laundry service versus washer/dryer self serve. Pool area is beautiful and clean. Hotel room was modern, everything worked well and was very clean. There are a couple restaurants onsite, the staff were really friendly and helpful, food was amazing. Walking distance to old town ABQ. The only thing I would note is there is an additional $20 (or so) per day for a resort fee. If you’re budgeted you may want to confirm this oat booking.

Great hotel! The hotel was wonderful and clean and the balcony view we had was great to see hot air balloons in the morning. The courtyard was very nice to relax and Gardunio’s restaurant in the hotel had great foils and was open early and late to accommodate our schedule. The servers were very friendly and continually checking on us. We had Kaelie serving us both nights for dinner and she was super helpful! Beautiful hotel! We’ll set up for events. We stayed here once before and prompted our stay again.
