Hotel at a Glance: Alexis Hotel & Banquets Dallas Park Central Galleria

A cutout of the Dallas skyline spans an entire wall at the Alexis Hotel & Banquets Dallas Park Central Galleria, outlined in colorful lights just as the city’s skyscrapers are at night. This homage to Dallas is part of the hotel’s recent makeover; the effort refreshed spaces with features like stylish club chairs in the lobby and new microwaves and mini-fridges in guest rooms.

  • Healthy habits: The fitness center is outfitted with cardio equipment.
  • Where to eat: The hotel is next to an In-N-Out Burger and Starbucks and within a 5-minute drive of restaurants like Benihana.
  • What’s nearby: The huge Galleria Dallas mall is about 5 minutes away, and downtown Dallas is about 20 minutes away.

Dallas, Texas: Rejuvenated Urban Districts and Historical Parks

Though some know Dallas only for the massive AT&T Stadium (which is actually in Arlington), the city is also an enclave of arts and nature, overflowing with botanical gardens, art galleries, and live theater. Historic Main Street connects many of the city’s recently rejuvenated urban districts, as well as the popular Main Street Garden, a block-long public park surrounded by architecturally significant buildings.

A short walk from downtown Dallas, you’ll find horse-drawn carriages clopping along brick streets in the city’s historic West End district, which dates back to the 19th century. This part of the city also contains Dealey Plaza, where President Kennedy was assassinated in November 1963. At The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, housed in the former Texas School Book Depository, you can visit the spot where Lee Harvey Oswald is believed to have shot at Kennedy’s presidential motorcade.

NOT COMFORATABLE The pillows were great, but we had to mop up the grease on the marble floor, because i slipped and fell in it. Why was it there? Was that the odor reducer? And the closet hanger bar was dripping with grease. But we did have our 2 cockroaches one dead the other little guy scampered off. the worse part is, at check IN they scammed me for a $100.00 destruction insurance payment fo , ie, smoking and drinking and party damage. What??? we were going to a church function i told her and dont drink, smoke or party but in the middle of a night, i caved, i was tired. She said it would drop off in 3-5 days adfter the manager checked the room. I am discouraged. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS COMANIY'S HOTELS OR MOTELS EVER EVER AGAIN.

Quick trip to Dallas This place was clean and had a wonderful aesthetic. It was everything we needed for our quick trip to Dallas and provided comfort and rest. It would have been nice if the pool was heated but that is more to do with my Filipe of swimming in cold water. I imagine on most days the idea of having a heated pool I. Texas is silly. Over all great!

Killed two roaches, fire alarm went off no communication if it was safe to return, ppl with ankle monitors walking the hallways & parties. Needless to say we slept at the airport!!! Don't waste your money!!!
