THIS PLACE SUCKS Wow used to come often but last time in 2022 it was terrible. I decided to give it another shot. Even worse. Stood to be seated at BrewsBrothers and the manager came by twice in a ten minute period to check the computer but I was never seated The 12 year old hostess finally shows up with an attitude and says I was helping a waitress. I had walked around the corner to see ten people in the kitchen standing around. The casino was a joke. 50% of the machines were off line. The week of the Fourth and they are apparently out of business. Yes I lost, but left long before I reached my allotted loss. TERRIBLE. Hotel staff was amazing.

Not going back Unfortunately I won’t be coming back. The hotel is very dated with stained carpets. We got a handicap accessible room, that only had horizontal bar next to the regular tub, The casino was a true disappointment. Half, if not more, of the machines were not in operation and the machines that were, were also dated.

Overnight stay at Isle of Capri Boonville Pleasant surprise. Spent one night here. Clean room and nice decor. Nothing fancy but clean. Casino has new machines …again clean and pleasant staff. Restaurant was very good. Casino now part of Caesar’s organization so was able to get a comped room.

Chicken Worms We booked a 2 night stay at isle of Capri Casino Hotel in January 2024. We ate dinner in the Brew Bros restaurant and were sadly disappointed with the food. I ordered a salad with candied pecans, cheese, cranberries and a variety of lettuce greens. The lettuce greens were so large that they would easily choke a horse and it was impossible to slice through them to make them easier to eat. My hubby ordered the taco salad that we had had on a previous stay but it wasn't the same as last time - especially the dressing - definitely not the best taco salad we had ever had any more. Additionally, the price of the taco salad had sky rocketed - well above our daily budgeted meal allowance. We opt'd to eat at the Tradewinds for lunch the next day but were sadly disappointed as the menu for the Tradewinds now only consists of various chicken diskes. Hot dogs or hamburgers wre no longer available there. Who ever made this change certainly had their head in a bucket of worms. The customer base for the Tradewinds were not there anytime during our two day stay. To have such a restrictive menu without popular American menu choices to include hamburgers, hot dogs, and BLT's certainly pidgeon holes the available menu choices of Chicken, chicken and more chicken. It was two of the coldest days in Missouri with temperatures well below freezing and in the teens. However the thermostat in our room could not be adjusted and hovered at 62 making a very chilly stay. We had to get maintenance personnel to bring us an extra blanket and make adjustments to the temperature. You could hang meat in that room ...that's for sure.

Renovation Needed The hotel room and hallways need new carpeting. The room itself needed a deep cleaning. The toilet paper holder was even grimey. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft. We did get a comped room, but we gambled a lot, too, so you would like to enjoy your stay there. It is a Caesar's property and needs a renovation to reflect the ownership.
