First experience Dean was fantastic, gave us an upgrade and check in as humble as can be. Made our trip very welcoming. Weather was too cold to hang out in the pool, fire pit seemed very nice and cozy. Friendly staff, great place to stay. Would stay again. Thank you

Charming 80’s Style Hotel but not for us We stayed for five nights on a couples getaway that included Valentines Day. We liked the restaurant and bar,as well as the charming pool area. The hotel is clearly a redone old-style chain motel but that’s OK. Our issue is that the room was clean but small and colorless. It simply felt sterile. This didn’t chime with our expectation of a Hilton Tapestry Collection establishment. I should mention that we had no maintenance issues. We did notice that a large number of other guests brought their dogs, and we could clearly hear them barking outside our room. Some may not mind this but we didn’t feel that all the dogs were a plus. If we visit Santa Barbara again we might go to the Leta for a meal or for a drink, but would not be likely to stay next time.
