Review of Our Stay at LOGE Mt. Shasta We recently stayed at the LOGE in Mt. Shasta for two nights. While we appreciate the concept and vibe of the property, there are several areas where improvements could really elevate the guest experience. Upon entering our room, there was a noticeable odor that lingered throughout our stay. It would be helpful if rooms were aired out daily or if deodorizers were used. The smell gave an impression that the room wasn't as clean as it should be. Scent often plays a big role in perceived cleanliness. A couple of the lamps or bulbs in the room weren’t working, which affected lighting and comfort. The bathroom could also use a refresh—some light updates or even just added care would go a long way. One thing that stood out was the absence of a hairdryer. In a cold-weather destination like Mt. Shasta, this really should be a standard amenity. Not everyone can sleep with wet hair, and it’s simply more hygienic to be able to dry it before bed. We also noticed that for a two-night stay, housekeeping didn’t provide a fresh roll of toilet paper or even an extra roll on standby. These are small touches, but they matter. In terms of safety and maintenance, one of the tinware mugs provided had chipped enamel, which didn’t seem safe to drink from. It’s important that all dishware is checked and replaced regularly to ensure guest safety. Lastly, while we enjoyed having an on-site café, the host didn’t seem particularly welcoming. A warmer greeting and perhaps a short intro about the café or shared spaces like the lounge would have helped us feel more at home. Everyone we met in town was friendly and welcoming—bringing that same hospitality into the LOGE would really enhance the experience. We love the idea behind LOGE and hope our feedback helps shape an even better stay for future guests.

Great place to stay in Mount Shasta! This is a great place to stay with family, expecially if you are travelling with gear for any kind of outdoor sports. The rooms were set up with lots of racks, boot dryers, and hooks, etc. to hold gear and to let things dry out over night. Beds were comfy and it was great to have the cafe on site. We'll be back!

Solid Stay in Mt.Shasta City Solid stay! Always basic, clean, and easy. Any questions...just ask the people there. They'll help you out! The location is great too! 1 hour or so to McArthur- Burney Falls. Close to wilderness areas and snow parks. This was a really great stay over on our way to the City by the Bay. :)

Hammock was fun! Daughter and I stayed just one night and were out the next morning to enjoy the mountain. The pillows and mattress were very comfortable, and she loved the hammock. They were accommodating for our late night travel needs and are very kind hosts.

Beware vey rustic and dingy BYOTP It used to be charming but was a gross, shabby mess. The staff was lazy, trash was everywhere, torn blankets, an unclean bathroom, and we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy our own. In 2021, it was this adorable; now it's dingy and gross. The staff didn't shovel, and we had a horrible experience. For those who have stayed in the past, it's more of a motel now all of the mountain's fresh charm has disappeared under layers of neglect and filth.
