Your Itinerary
You’ll be embarking on Nova Star, the cruise ferry that sails daily from Portland, Maine on an overnight voyage to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. You’ll board the ship at approximately 7:15 p.m., for an 8 p.m. departure. That night, you can enjoy all the onboard entertainment and amenities – go dancing, try your luck in the casino, or sing along at the piano bar – before retiring to your comfortable cabin. The next morning, you’ll wake up refreshed and take in the views of the rugged Canadian shoreline and the Cape Forshu Light Station on the approach into port at the historic, seaside town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. On arrival in port, at 8 a.m., all passengers will be required to briefly disembark and go through Canadian customs, before immediately returning to the ship for a 9:30 a.m. departure and the 10-hour return voyage back to Portland. On the day crossing, you’ll enjoy multiple cruise activities, live music, movies and more – plus the convenience of having your own private cabin to relax in – before arriving back in Portland at 6:30 p.m., after experiencing nearly 24 fun-filled hours on your cruise at sea!
