Niagara Falls, Ontario: Panoramic Views of the Falls near Vegas-Style Casinos and Water Parks

At Niagara Falls, water thunders downward from a height of nearly 200 feet, crashing onto craggy boulders below. The falls straddle the border between Canada and the United States, but the Canadian side of the Niagara River is universally hailed as the finest vantage point to take in all three of Niagara Falls' photogenic brinks: American, Bridal Veil, and Horseshoe Falls.

Hornblower cruises ferry raincoat-clad passengers around the base of the falls from April to October, depending on the river's ice conditions. Year-round, Journey Behind the Falls grants a glimpse behind the curtain of Horseshoe Falls—visitors board an elevator that descends 150 feet into the bedrock, then stand at an observation deck steps from the cascading water. A 10-minute walk from the falls is the neon-lit Clifton Hill neighborhood. Its Fallsview Boulevard has plenty of Vegas-style kitsch, including glitzy casinos and indoor water parks.

Fine for a budget hotel Hotel was okay if you are on a budget. It’s not on the main strip but about a 10 minute talk to it so not bad. Room wasn’t too bad for budget. Carpet had been replaced for laminate wood floors which is always good. Room was clean although old. Beds hard and shower small. $20 parking per day which sucks. Pool area and hallways were cool but heat in our room worked well. Complementary breakfast wasn’t the greatest. Staff was friendly.

Don't waste your time Stayed at the hotel over the weekend. Was a horrible mistake. Husband and I have pains in our back due to the hard mattress/ bed that was provided. Did not like the room did not like the details in the room. The bathroom stall had mold. Was not impressed by the room or the hotel. Seemed like Quality Inn gave up years ago and it has no interest in making this specific site better. The only good quality of the hotel is that it was about a 7 minute walk from Clifton Hill. But other than that save your money save your time and energy and go to a different Hotel.

Your getting what you paid for This is my first time stay here and it’s quite rundown. The beds are not queen they are double. The chairs were broken and no mirrors in the room only washroom. If you’re paying $99-120 then I’d say it’s worth for a night but no more. You have to go downstairs to get ice because there is only one machine. The bathroom has a tub if you like that. The breakfast is not bad, but you have to toast the bread yourself and make waffles. It’s a self serving breakfast. I saw an ant near the cereal area. The tables are sticky even though they look clean. The rooms are red which is weird but fine. The balcony is rusted and the rooms look dirty. If you’re just staying for a night or two and want something cheap I’d recommend this place. Also the employees look sketchy lol they stare at you and are a little rude. The casino is just across the street which is a bonus. Pros - cheap when you can get it, free parking, free breakfast and pool. Cons - the rooms are dirty looking and rundown, small soap and hair products. No room service since the phones don’t work. You have to pay for bottle of water and go downstairs to get it. Don’t know about the other rooms but our AC stopped working but they did offer one extra blanket. Overall if your tight on cash and don’t mind the old look and find a deal why not stay here. Ps if you’re used to nice hotels and services, don’t go here lol.
