Anaheim, California: Magical Play Land Outside LA

Less than 35 miles from Hollywood, Anaheim is perfectly situated for making the most of a Southern California getaway. But most visitors never make it that far, as Disneyland Park has long dominated the city’s tourism scene. As Walt Disney’s original park, it has a handful of classic attractions that, though upgraded over the years, have been around since the park opened in 1955. You can ride the Mad Tea Party spinning teacups, hop on the King Arthur Carrousel, or sail in the Storybook Land Canal Boats (Walt Disney personally planted the small pine near Geppetto’s home).

Disneyland Park has plenty of modern rides too, including Cars Land, one of the newer additions to Disney California Adventure Park and a life-size re-creation of the town from Disney Pixar’s Cars. The highlight here is the slot-car attraction, which puts you in an automated vehicle that swerves around animatronic characters before engaging another car in a high-speed race.

They stole my money and provided no service! Red Lion Anaheim resort location charged me $800 for a hotel room 8 months ago. Now is the time to go to the hotel and THEY ARE CLOSED with no contact number or email. I have tried contacting them for months now and not even booking.com can get ahold of anyone.i have sent in 5 cancelation requests with no response. What kind of service is this? Where you say your provide a room take the money then disappear?! A simple email before they closed could have helped.

Deplorable Room was very dirty - mold on the ceiling, damaged furniture, questionable spots on the floor, peeling wallpaper, dirt near the toilet. Just disgusting. Left after the first night to stay at the Majestic Garden Inn.

Paper walls and freezing room We came here with my husband for work for a week, my first impression was good, after I spend one night it changed all. Beds are confortable, the room is clean where you can see it but...I couldn’t sleep till 3 am because in the room next to us I could hear absolutely everything, the talk, the laughs... We had to move the furniture to switch off the fridge because it was old and making a lot of noise, there is a strong noise coming constantly from the bathroom ventilation and we were super dress in bed as the room is freezing...the air comes from the space between the door and the frame __‍♀️ Location is good and there is many places you can go walking but you should bring some ear plugs if you want to sleep!
