Too many cutting corners Stayed for 3 days 4/10-13. In a 2 room suite, which had 3 TV’s total, with only 1 of the remotes actually working. Brought to lobby & said they couldn’t do anything because the back cover is screwed on and we’d have to call for maintenance the following morning. Called following morning & they said they’d notify maintenance. Maintenance never came. Called again in afternoon & front desk said all they could do was “see if we can find another remote for you” and would call back if they found one. Never called back. Following morning I inquired again at front desk and was told “let me look around down here to find an extra one”. Never got a response. Later, realized ice maker wasn’t making ice. Called front desk, they sent maintenance and maintenance guy took 2 minutes looking at ice maker and said “it’s broken”. So no ice either.

Mr Dyrda is back in Folsom again First of all I want to say how amazing this property is… from the second you walk into the door and greeted by one of the very best Marriott staffs in the hotel business.. The GM and AGM keep the hotel very clean.. Such a great hotel to stay at.. The cleanliness of the hotel is the best.. the breakfast is good.. everyone is so friendly at the hotel.. It is a good value for what you pay.. love the 2 bedroom suites.. Take my word for it I am a Marriott guy only and whenever in Folsom this hotel is my first choice.. The courtyard next door same ownership is my second choice only because I like a bigger room.. Thank you for reading this review Big Joe

Dissapointing This used to be my go-to hotel in the area but not anymore. It’s been a while, and they have remodeled it since my last stay. The sofa they picked is probably the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered in a hotel room. It was so bad that we asked to change rooms but had to sit on the bed for our three-night stay to watch TV instead of using the living area as the sofas were all the same. The other thing is they charge $12 a day to park in the shopping center lot. They have obviously received many complaints as they placed a sign on the reception desk that essentially states we told you in four different places when you booked the room that there was a parking charge so quit your bitching. I knew there was a charge, but I am sure that the other businesses, IHOP, Fat’s Bistro, Best Buy, and Sam’s Club in the center do not charge their customers to park. Both subjects were part of healthy conversations amongst the clientele at the breakfast buffet.

Renovated residence inn close to a mall We were here during a river rafting trip to NorCal and stayed here for 3 nights. Location: This hotel is close to a shopping mall with lots of restaurants, wholefoods and many fine dining places within walking distance. rooms: we were a group of 3 families and all of us got the renovated rooms which were brand new. so most of the earlier reviews must have been before the renovation. This is a residence inn and if you are expecting a westin or jw out of it, then you need to set your expectations breakfast place: there is only one breakfast place ( free ) which is next to the reception. it had limited menu. overall pretty good and would stay here next time.

Noisy hotel I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and have enjoyed staying in their hotels at many locations, but this isn't one of them. I made a reservation several weeks in advance with the specific request to be located on the top floor. When I arrived I was told no rooms were available there. When I got to my room I was greeted by loud foot steps above me which lasted well into the night. I called the front desk who was of no help. Needless to say this will be the last time I stay there.
