I just want to start off to say that Mark at the residence Inn was amazing, helpful, and I wouldn’t of been able to stay at the hotel without him. With that said, don’t ever purchase a Groupon for a hotel stay, I purchased this Groupon, three weeks in advance, the hotel never had my reservation and I’ve emailed Groupon and still have not received a response!!! Never again will I use Groupon!!!

My reservation was not communicated to the hotel. Waited for 4 hours at the front desk,couldn't check in. Absolutely disappointed with groupon. My entire family had to suffer. Couldn't resolve still get my refund.

Filthy rooms. Poor customer service I planned a family trip to Hershey Park. 6 rooms booked. Upon arrival my son’s family with 3 young children entered their room to find strong marijuana Oder and dirty laundry on the floor. Another room had a bag of rotting garbage in closet with brown liquid of who knows what. She called at to have it removed she was told by front desk that there was no one available to do that. So she carried it outside and left on the lawn. Room 3 had moldy grout in the shower. Complained to Marriott corporate and they were responsive. Sent 3 emails letting me know that the manager of this hotel was notified and would be contacting me. Well the manager never did. I was allowed to leave early without penalty due to the conditions but I did have to scramble to find another hotel and that did cut into time we could have spent at Hershey Park. I ended up at a Hilton and we were very happy.

FILTHY! My room was absolutely filthy. I first noticed some stray hairs on my bed sheets and convinced myself that it was probably clean and just leftover after washing. Later I turned down my bed and in the middle was a big, juicy stain! The sheets were definitely dirty. I told the front desk and they made me walk to them to get new sheets at 11pm. I had to leave my sleeping 6 month and 11 year old in the room while I ran to the front desk for new sheets. While there, I was eventually given sheets after waiting 15 min and told o make my own bed. We had even looked up that my room was a king bed. When I got back to my room and stripped my bed my fitted sheet didn't fit. At this point I am exhausted after driving 4.5 hrs and ready to cry. I call the front desk and ask them to please bring me the right sheet. They refuse and tell me I have to come to them. I again leave my 11 year old and infant alone to walk to the front desk to grab sheets. This time she says I hope these are the right ones it is hard to tell. I say I how so too. Turns out she gave me 2 top sheets. Whatever at least (I think) I did not sleep on dirty sheets. Also my patents room had a dishwasher full of dirty dishes. My bathroom was full of mold and mildew.

Good sized rooms and very good price I booked 3 rooms for me and my wife, my in-laws, and my niece and nephew. Check in took quite some time but the stay itself was good. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Plenty of space to unpack and put our stuff. I booked it with a different travel portal so I wasn't eligible to use my Marriott platinum status for a 4 pm late checkout but the staff was accommodating and granted us a 1 pm late checkout. The pool wasn't too cold either when we went early in the morning and the kids enjoyed it. If we go to Hershey Park again we will definitely stay here again.
