Kenyatta Was Excellent, But Overall Experience Lacked Hospitality I stayed at this property for 13 days, and while the overall experience was less than ideal, Kenyatta truly stood out. From the moment I checked in, he was naturally hospitable, professional, and always made me feel at home. Throughout my stay, Kenyatta remained consistently joyful and eager to help, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. His positive attitude was a bright spot during my time here. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the staff. As a Bonvoy Elite Member with over 100 stays and more than 400 nights, I’ve come to expect a certain level of service, and sadly, that was not delivered. Ms. Agatha, in particular, was extremely rude and unprofessional. As a manager, I found her to be among the least professional I’ve ever dealt with. She made no effort to resolve the issues I faced and, at times, even lied about trivial matters. Had it not been for Kenyatta’s excellent service and professionalism, this review would have been one-star. His dedication was the only redeeming factor in an otherwise unpleasant and inhospitable stay. This does not reflect my view of the wonderful, hardworking housekeeping staff, with whom I had very little contact.

Very homey As soon as you pull into the parking lot, you're struck by the hominess of this hotel. It's a not your typical block of rooms, but a cluster of small buildings with a few rooms in each. This does mean, however, that you must walk between buildings to get to the complimentary breakfast. It was a short, pleasant walk when I visited, but may not be so pleasant in winter. My room was a studio. Entry was to the living area with a sleeper sofa, TV, and desk. To the left was a small, but adequate kitchen with full-size appliances. Dishes and utensils were included. A low counter between the kitchen and sofa served as the dining table. The sofa was comfortable and large enough to stretch out on, but I did not try the sleeper part of it. The bed is beyond the sofa and was comfortable, but not too soft. Plugs on either side of the bed make it easy to charge a phone overnight. A large closet and chest of drawers provide plenty of storage space. The bathroom is separated from the rest of the by a wall without a door. This is fine for a single person, but I try to avoid such a configuration when traveling with family so the first person up doesn't wake up every one else. That aside, the bathroom is spacious with ample counter and storage room. The shower is hot without steaming-up the mirror. The only thing lacking here are places to hang towels between uses.

Outdated and noisy Outdated rooms. Outdated air conditioning. No acknowledgement of my Marriott Status. People eating in the parking lot and leaving their food trash outside so you can step in it when you park your car and heavy footsteps till 3:00 am. If you stay get a second floor room.
