Amazing Staff & Area The staff have been continuously kind and courteous during my stay and go beyond their pay grade to be accommodating. From the breakfast to responding to requests, they have been amazing! Aside from the stellar staff, the hotel is tucked in a quiet spot and close to everything you need. Lastly, my commutes to/from NYC have been super easy and around 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in I’ve been to hotels before but this one was by far the worst my family scheduled a check in at 4 o’clock but at 4:15 they had not gotten even close to finishing the room so they put us in a room where the light was not working. When we went to the pool at 10:00 when the pool opened they said they were not opening it until 11:00 because the ph level was unbalanced but we did not see anyone check it. All the staff are lazy and should be fired immediately. This hotel should be closed and never reopened

Never staying there again I rarely give a one-star review. I always contact management if something is off, and usually it is remedied immediately. This time, the management basically said I should have told the front desk about the problems. Unfortunately, we did and they didn't care. This property is subcontracted by Marriott to Highgate. As Bonvoy members, we were appalled. Here are the issues: My husband and I stayed one night June 1. The room was clean. That was the only thing positive we could say. The entryway stairs were torn, a dangerous tripping hazzard. The AC in the room was loud and sounded like it needed service. There was no extra toilet tissue in any cabinet. The mattress was hard as a board and the pillows were wimpy soft. The wifi was spotty and unusable. We called ahead and was told the pool was open, but upon arriving, even with a "open" sign, the pool was padlocked. Adding insult to injury, we were charged for parking in the unsecured parking lot. There are more minor issues, but you get the drift. We will never stay there again, even though we are frequently visiting the area.

Disgusting Hotel - Management should be embarrassed The Residence Inn Saddle River, NJ is a DUMP! The hotel should be bulldozed (along with some of the nasty staff) and rebuilt as there is not way to keep putting lipstick on a pig. Besides the worn and dirty decor, the smells, mold, there are even hazards like big carpet holes on stairs, etc I can go on and on but just had to give my two cents - I obviously would never stay there again._

Stay somewhere else! The room was dirty and smelly. Found a chik fila cup in my freezer from a previous guest. The toilet seat was not cleaned as there was a poop stain on the back of seat. The swimming pool was green. The breakfast was terrible, we got to the lobby at 9:10 for breakfast on a Sunday and nothing was restocked. The spot for bagels and muffins was empty. 3 pieces of toast left empty hot tray of who knows what very disappointed!! Had to ask for a fork and knife set as they were empty too! Do not stay here.
